For 2010 we will be introducing a new line to the Maisto stables. The 1/55 Custom Shop Fifty 5’s.
There will be a total of 6 vehicles in this first release. Viewed in this line-up is the 2009 Nissan 370Z, 1972 Datsun 510 and the 1975 Datsun 620. The other 3 (not pictured) will be the new Scion xB, the 2008 Mitsubishi Lancer Evo and the 1995 Toyota SR5.
It will be displayed in a full-color blister card available for the U.S. and Europe. You will find this NEW HOT item in our 2010 catalog under the 25016 item number.

Aside from the ‘toonish proportions (which most collectors out there DON’T like), these are nicely done. I like the fact that you included two mini trucks which are highly requested by collectors but are hard to come by.
Can’t wait to find the Datsun and Toyota trucks!

The first three styles (Datsun 510, Datsun 620 pickup, 370Z) are in stock in the U.S. now so they should be at stores now, too. The next three styles (scion xB, 2008 Mitsubishi Lancer EVO, Toyota SR5 pickup) are expected at the U.S. warehouse in mid-April so they should be in stores by the end of April or early May. However, some larger store chains only do a “re-set” (adding new items) two or three times a year so you may need to wait until that happens, probably in early summer.
Love the Datsun 620. Just cat find them in any store.
What stores sell these? I need a few of the Datsun truck.
They might not be in stores until they re-set their toy departments in late summer or fall with new merchandise. In the meantime, you should be able to get them from http://www.beartreestreet.com — but be sure to specify exactly which ones you want.
i got 5 out of the six models here in california from a shop called big lou’s in culver city. only one i need is the evo.
