DCX Magazine shows the 1955 Buick die-casts from Maisto

In the Spring 2010 issue, due out in early January, DieCastX magazine has an article on our two versions of the 1955 Buick Century. One, the Special Edition, is the replica of an actual California Highway Patrol car. The other, in our ProRodz line, uses the same body but is modified into a hot rod.

Alan Paradise’s article with photos by Hope McCall compare and contrast the two models. Paradise writes, “The real power of these two Maisto Buicks is in play when displayed together. It’s a law and order versus a no-holds-barred contrast that makes them compelling.”

Both are 1/26 scale. The Special Edition CHP car is #31295 while the ProRodz is #31326. You can reach the magazine at http://www.diecastxmagazine.com/ME2/Default.asp
